New Requirement for PGWP Applicants: Language Test

Starting November 1, 2024, applicants for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) in Canada must meet new language proficiency requirements. University graduates will need a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 in either English or French, while college graduates must achieve CLB level 5. These changes aim to align the PGWP program with Canada's evolving immigration goals and labor market needs, facilitating the transition of international graduates to permanent residency.
